Getting started

Is Collabaway free to use?

You can start free as a creator, brand or agency. Creator Pro is $15 a month, and the Team and Agency plans for brands and agencies are $99 and $249 a month. Nobody is charged during the beta, and we'll email you before anything is charged. The first 100 creators become founding members and keep Pro free for life.

What do founding members get?

Every Pro feature, for life, at no cost: higher monthly limits on the AI assistant, AI negotiation and inbox tools, and anything we add to Pro later. There are 100 founding places, for creators.

Can agencies use Collabaway?

Yes. Agencies get a workspace to run campaigns for each client, send offers on their behalf, keep their creators as contacts and see every deal in one pipeline.

How are creator stats checked?

Creators can connect Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, X, LinkedIn or Twitch, so stats are read from the platform rather than typed in, and every figure says where it came from. Profiles can also carry a badge after we review identity and account ownership.

What's in an offer?

The fee, the deliverables, dates, revision rounds and usage rights, including whether the brand can run paid ads with the content and for how long. Both sides see every version, and nothing is agreed until both accept.

Does Collabaway handle payments?

Not yet. Brands pay creators directly for now, and creators can send a proper invoice from the deal in Collabaway. Payments through Collabaway are on the way.

How do I join as a creator?

Sign up as a creator, then connect your social accounts. There's no minimum follower count. You'll get a public page at collabaway.com/@yourhandle and a media kit you can share.

Can I try it before signing up?

Yes. The demo at collabaway.com/demo runs a whole deal as a creator, brand or agency with sample data. Nothing you do there is saved.

Is there a mobile app?

Yes. Add Collabaway to your home screen from Safari or Chrome and it opens full screen like any app, with shortcuts to your inbox. There's no app store download; the Get the app page shows the steps.

Creators

What is a package?

A fixed-price offer you list on your page. For example, one Instagram reel for $900, delivered in 7 days, with the usage rights spelled out. Brands request it and the offer arrives already filled in. You still accept it yourself.

Do I have to show my rates?

No. Packages are public by design, but your per-format rates stay private unless you switch on showing them.

Can I log deals I did outside Collabaway?

Yes. The deal log keeps every brand deal in one place, so your earnings and history are complete.

Can I bring my existing deals over?

Yes. In Integrations, import a spreadsheet or an invoice export from QuickBooks, Xero, Wave or FreshBooks. We match the columns, show you a preview, and add the deals as drafts for you to check. You can download your whole deal log as a spreadsheet at any time too.

Does Collabaway work with QuickBooks?

Yes. Download your invoices in QuickBooks or Xero import format from Integrations. A direct QuickBooks Online connection, which sends each invoice to your books in one tap, is being switched on in stages.

How do invoices work?

Create an invoice from a deal; it's numbered for you and the brand opens it from a private link. Fill in your billing details once and authorise invoicing in Billing.

Why would I fill in a W-9 or W-8BEN?

US brands and agencies need one before they pay you. You fill it in once in Tax info, sign it on screen, and we remind you before a W-8BEN expires.

Brands and agencies

Can I see creators before I sign up?

Yes. The creator directory and every creator's page are public. Searching with all the filters needs a free account.

What are usage rights?

What you may do with the content after it's posted: share it organically, run it as paid ads (and on which channels, for how long), run ads from the creator's own account, or keep the creator exclusive for a period. Every offer spells them out.

Can an agency work on behalf of a brand?

Yes. Agencies run campaigns for each client, send offers on their behalf and see every deal in one pipeline.

How is Collabaway different from Collabstr, Creator.co or TRIBE?

There's no platform fee today and creators keep their whole fee; offers are negotiated with usage rights written in; and creators keep every deal, including ones done elsewhere, in one record. They're ahead on payments through the platform. The comparison page at collabaway.com/compare has the details and sources.

How do I know a creator's numbers are real?

Stats read from a connected account say so; anything typed in by hand is labelled self-reported, and unusual jumps are flagged on the profile.

Money

Does Collabaway take a cut?

Not today. Brands pay creators directly and creators invoice from the deal. Paid plans are listed on the pricing page, and nobody is charged during the beta. If we add a fee, we'll publish it there before anything changes.

What do the 100 founding members get?

Every Pro feature, free for life: higher monthly limits on the AI assistant, AI negotiation and inbox tools, and anything we add to Pro later.

Can I do gifted or affiliate deals?

Yes. Offers can include a product (your address stays private to the brand team) or an affiliate commission with a tracking link and promo code.

AI, safety and privacy

Will the AI accept deals for me?

Never. It can counter within the minimums you set, but accepting is always your tap. You can pause it or take over any conversation.

Does Collabaway send email from my Gmail?

No. With your permission it reads sponsor email and saves reply drafts to your Gmail; you send them yourself.

Someone asked me to pay to get paid. Is that you?

No. Collabaway never asks creators to pay a deposit, fee or gift card to receive money. Report it from the message or the brand's page.

Can I get a copy of my data?

Yes. Download your data from Settings → Privacy & data at any time.

We'd like to measure how people find and use Collabaway, including recordings of some pages with anything you type hidden. If you reject, we only count visits, without cookies. The site works the same either way. Cookie policy
